Meditations for Stress & Pain Management

Breathing Meditation

Meditation is a scary word for some, for others it feels like a warm bath.  Follow along with this simple guided meditation, and don't worry if you are "getting it right" as long as you are breathing you are getting it right!

Body Scan Meditation

Stress is the #1 exacerbating factor in pain.  Many of us have no idea that are bodies are under stress. Follow along with this mindful body scanning meditation to identify areas of stress and to bring them ease.

Chakra Meditation

For those of us that believe that our bodies have an energy system, and that our health depends on the unobstructed flow of that energy.  I offer a gentle Chakra meditation for energizing and unblocking your bodies natural energy system.

Diaphragmatic Breathing

In my Yoga classes I stress a number of  things constantly to get the most benefit from the practice.  Diaphragmatic Breathing is the most important. Our bodies respond to deep inhales, to the bottom of our lungs by cause a systemic relaxation response.  This is also a great practice if you have trouble sleeping at night!

Beach Meditation

This is hands down my most requested guided meditation. The imagery of the warm sand and gentle lapping waves melts away stress and muscular tension. Give it a try, and then make it a part of your day for phenomenal stress relief.
